Two Amazing Movie Previews
I have to admit, I’m not a big You Tube junkie that can spend hours watching funny, insane, outrageous, or cool videos. But when one comes around that makes me say “Oh Snap!” I have to share with you all. One of my favorite superhero movies ever was the first Iron Man movie. Number 2 is coming out soon and the leaked footage looks amazing. Geeks unite! this movie is gadget heaven.
The second video is the trailer for “Fantastic Mr. Fox.” Originally a children’s book by Roald Dahl, this was and still could be one of my favorites…(“Babar” your stories are good too). YUP – Fox Searchlight has made it into a movie coming out this fall!
Nuclear Fusion Reactor Core looks like a Monstrance
I ran across a post on Gizmodo.com about a Canadian company that claimed they could build a nuclear fusion reactor in the next 10 years. For all of you out there with the heart of a nerd inside them, that fact alone is interesting enough to read on. But the image of the Reactor Core really made me stop and say “Wow, that looks like a Monstrance!”

Steubenville West 2009 – Above All
Our parish youth group just came back from Lifeteen and Franciscan Youth’s “Steubenville West Conference – ABOVE ALL.” It was an amazing weekend of faith, fellowship, praise and worship. It’s always refreshing and amazing to see young people of faith loving God fully and without reservation.
Above are a few pics of the event; Fr. Stan Fortuna, Matt Maher Band, Righteous B, and… a little drink from a rest stop that encompasses the whole weekend.

DSLR cameras are no longer just for pros or those who want to become pros. People of all ages are catching the photography bug. My friends who’ve invested in a DSLR now blow all of their money on new lenses / kits / flashes / accessories for their new toy. With HD video capture coming out on most new DSLR cameras, the advertising campaigns are becoming more and more slick. Click the image to see Nikon’s AD technique at a subway station in Japan.
